The East Alabama Cycling Club is a collection of riders of all abilities, from the novice enthusiast to the seasoned pro. Through monthly meetings, club rides, and sponsored events we seek to promote a safe and fun atmosphere to grow as a cyclist. The club meets at 7p on the 2nd Monday of the month. Meetings are held at the Church of the Highlands, 2001 E Samford Av, Auburn, AL. EACC began in the spring of 2003 to promote cycling and push for a Rails-to-Trails restoration of the railbed that carried the Johnny Ray train between Opelika, Lafayette, and Roanoke in the early 20th century. |
