Time: 11:00 EDT in West Point (10:00 CDT). Park near Chattabrewchee Southern Brewhouse.
Road Conditions: All paved. Any bikes/tires will be fine.
Bring: Water. Treasure for a pint and lunch afterwards (or bring a lunch with you).

Wait, there’s more!
After our ride, there’s another in the afternoon. Golden’s and Trek of Auburn are sponsoring rides in the afternoon starting at Shaefer Heard State Park (near the dam) – road riding and trail riding. Here’s their announcement:

At last the longer days are here and the time has changed. Let us all get together and do some riding. Meet at the Shaefer Heard State Park and ride at 1:30.
There is something for all!
If you like the road, we will do 30-ish mile ride at a no drop pace through the Alabama countryside. If off road mountain bike is you thing. Ride the 7 miles of trails around the Georgia side of the dam from basic stuff to the technical of Hak and Yak. If you just want a nice relaxed ride with family you can enjoy the nearly 10 miles of quite park road way on both the Georgia and Alabama side of the dam. Goldens and Trek of Auburn will provide hotdogs, hamburgers and drinks. Bring a dish, snack, chips what ever and enjoy a meal starting about 4PM. The first social event of the riding season and you will not want to miss it.
