Our next Second Sunday Ride is the Chattahoochee Valley Railroad Trail in Valley, AL.
The Trail is a 7.5–mile biking, jogging, and walking trail from the Shawmut Mill Village to the Riverdale Mill Village, near the Chattahoochee River. The trail lies directly on top of what was once the Chattahoochee Valley Railroad that serviced the four textile mills of the area. An interesting trail going through friendly neighborhoods and historic mill villages.
We'll carpool from Auburn to Valley, AL, ride the trail and drop down to the River, then return to the cars. Lunch afterwards at a restaurant to be named later.
Date: Sunday, April 9.
Time: 9:00 am at Auburn High School to carpool or 9:30 at the parking lot.
